What data we handle and why
When you ask for a quote or write to us
The form on this site does not send anything to any server: it opens WhatsApp or your email app with the message already written, and you send it yourself. What reaches us is what you choose to send: your name, your company, your phone number or email address and your message.
- Why: to reply, prepare the quote and, if you accept it, run the project.
- Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract and, if there is a project, the performance of that contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- How long: as long as needed to handle your request. If we do not end up working together, we delete the conversation within 12 months at the latest. If there is a contract, we keep what the law requires for the periods it sets, for example under tax rules.
When you browse the site
The site uses no cookies, no analytics, no advertising and no social media buttons that track you. Fonts are served from our own server.
- Hosting: the site is hosted by Vercel, which logs technical data for each visit (IP address, browser, page requested, date) so the service works and stays secure. Legal basis: legitimate interest in keeping the site available and protected (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Live weather: the home page shows the island's temperature and wind. To do this your browser requests the data directly from Open-Meteo (OpenMeteo GmbH, Bürglen, Switzerland), which receives your IP address. According to its policy it uses it only to run the service and prevent abuse, and deletes its logs after 90 days. Legal basis: legitimate interest in showing that content.
Who else sees the data
We do not sell or share your data. Only the providers we need to operate are involved, under contracts that require them to protect it:
- Vercel Inc. (United States), website hosting.
- Google (email), if you write to us by email.
- WhatsApp (Meta), if you choose to message us on WhatsApp.
- OpenMeteo GmbH (Switzerland), weather data on the home page.
Transfers to the United States go to companies certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. Switzerland has an adequacy decision from the European Commission.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, object to or restrict its use, or take it to another provider. Write to andreapiani.dev@gmail.com and we will reply within one month. If you think we have not handled your data properly, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency at www.aepd.es.
We do not make automated decisions about you or build profiles. This site is not aimed at children under 14.
